How do you measure lyrical genius? For me it's vocabulary. Or how many words you can meld together to make one word. Michael Jackson comes close to the lyrical creative crown with words like "sha'mon" and various other distinguished winnie grunts. However, my mind was made up recently when listening to a 'Sex Machine' by James Brown. Here is why James Brown is king;
Sure as you are born = Shurasabone
I'm not sure even the best team of scientists can unravel this grammatical / phonetic anomaly. James Brown is a genius, obviously, look at him.
