Guinea Pig

In Tawain scientists have figured out a way to genetically engineer pigs to glow fluorescent green. I have a glow in the dark shirt, now I can finally have the pig to go with it.

Get a few laughs

Check some funny as shit. Even better than watching a guy get hit in the nuts with a wiffle ball bat.

We got another one in there!

Bruce Sutter, father of the split-finger fastball, and five year Cardinal made it to Cooperstown Tuesday. Professional baseball players have the choice to wear any hat of any team they played for when going into the hall of fame. Mr. Sutter played about an equal amount of time for the Braves, Cubs(uck) and the Redbirds. And what hat did Brucy choose to wear in? I'm happy to say you now have some company Oz. This is the first cardinal in the hall of fame since the wizard got in. There were a few other noteworthy players in the running. Willie McGee grabbed 2.3 percent of the votes this year. We are rootin' for next time Willie!!

Lyrical Genius

How do you measure lyrical genius? For me it's vocabulary. Or how many words you can meld together to make one word. Michael Jackson comes close to the lyrical creative crown with words like "sha'mon" and various other distinguished winnie grunts. However, my mind was made up recently when listening to a 'Sex Machine' by James Brown. Here is why James Brown is king; Sure as you are born = Shurasabone I'm not sure even the best team of scientists can unravel this grammatical / phonetic anomaly. James Brown is a genius, obviously, look at him.

Mactel

My powerbook is no longer the hottest thing out there. Behold the new Mac Book Pro. I tried to hold off buying my powerbook because I was waiting for one of these. I'm glad that the didn't change the design. Now I know what middleaged women feel like when a new younger, hotter, hussie moves into the neighborhood. The good news is that its virtually indistinguishable from the old powerbooks. It's all in the guts so at least I won't look like a chump when my powerbook starts to show its age.

In the blink of an eye.

Trust your gut. I recently finished this book. Blink is about split-second cognition and how we can understand, and react to things in a fraction of a second. This book dissects snap judgments and tries to explain how we make these reactionary judgments. A recommended read for hobby psychologists like myself.
